Finally, after what seems to be "too much time", we're finally in a place where we can successfully open the online store.
We could have opened earlier, but we've been having some technical issues surrounding linking updated live shipping prices to our checkout.
Yes, we were originally planning on offering free shipping to our products once the total goes over a specific amount... but in the last few months the prices of shipping have gone up more than three fold - making the plan for free shipping unfeasible.
While we work on a technology workaround with our webservices provider, we can provide live shipping quotes if you reach out to our support team at sales@thewhiteshaker.com.
As you can imagine, shipping for our products doesn't follow the conventional rules for shipping. The majority of our orders are processed, picked and packed onto pallets for LTL (less than truckload) shipping.
Needless to say, the main point is that we're finally open for business again. It's been a long road for our business - especially with COVID disrupting so many different aspects of all our lives and livelihoods. We hope and pray that other small businesses like ours can find a way to stand up, open and be strong for the communities they support.
We also pray for loved ones that we have lost during this tragic pandemic so that those left behind can find the support and strength they need to move their lives in a forward direction again.
